As a dog owner as well, I had trouble writing it. I would constantly look over at my dog, give her some pets to go to a little happy place in my mind, then get back to writing.
Some of it was pretty fucky on my screen but it successfully made me cry! Don't worry doggo you can sleep in my warm house! Here is a drawing made with my mouse of the dog in a big warm fluffy pillow!
